Why it works
Colostrum is the first milk a cow produces after calving, and it is dense in immunoglobulins, growth factors, and lactoferrin. Most of what makes it interesting sits in the immunoglobulin fraction, which is why the standardization matters more than the raw milligram count.
Ours is standardized to 25 percent IgG, so each 500 mg capsule carries 125 mg of immunoglobulin G rather than whatever a given batch happened to contain. It comes in a vegetable capsule with rice flour and MCT oil, and it is a dairy product, so it is not suitable if you avoid milk entirely.
Benefits
Normal immune function*
Immunoglobulin G is the antibody class colostrum is richest in. A standardized 125 mg per capsule supports normal immune function.*
Gut lining support*
The growth factors and immunoglobulins in colostrum support the integrity of the intestinal lining.*
Post-exercise recovery*
Athletes use colostrum through heavy training blocks to support the recovery routine that follows hard sessions.*
Standardized, not just sourced*
A 25 percent IgG standardization means the active fraction is measured per lot instead of assumed from the source.*
